Adjustable Height tables

by Jack Rosati on 2008-03-01 09:30:05 - Email This

This Disc base series offers height range adjustability of approximately 11-7/8". This base travels from 27-1/4" to 38-3/4", and fully meets ADA height requirements. The Disc Base has a very low profile and is an excellent choice when you are trying to reduce the visual size of the tables or eliminate a person’s feet from hitting the typical base mass. Adjustment is easy. Simply set your foot on the base and lift the surface. The mechanism will automatically adjust to the next level. To lower the surface, lift it to its highest level. It will release and slowly descend to the lowest position. No locks, no levers, no cranks, no cylinders, no pins, etc. Base heights are numbered for easy leveling. This base series offers one of the most user friendly, multipurpose, and cost-effective lines of adjustable height bases and mechanisms available today.

Tables on the move!

Have you ever needed to move a table and you're all by yourself.  No one else around to help?  It's hard dragging tables across the floor.  Wouldn't it be nice if the table bases had locking wheels on them so that when you needed them to stay put......they would, and when you needed to move them.....you could?  Well worry not.  We've heard your cries for help and now you can do just that.  Many table bases can be ordered with casters.

More than just a table

by Jack Rosati on 2007-07-27 13:20:25 - Email This

No one knows what the first table ever was.  Maybe it was a dinosaur meat carving table, or maybe some sacrificial alter.  Whatever it was, it was held up with something that kept it off the ground.  Maybe it was a stack of rocks or four Wholly Mammoth tusks.   Today’s tables come in all sizes, shapes and materials.  Anyone could create that special look, feel or function with the table top they choose.  But what about the support for these tables?   Can’t they add to the desired environment the user is trying to construct?  Aren’t they integral to the function of what the table is meant to do?  Of course they are.  This site is intended to help you choose the right base for your  table top.
